Contracted by MMT AB to provide a Senior Data Processor for the BHP Calypso and Trion Field Development projects.
Both projects involve AUV seabed geophysical surveys for potential field development in deep water, conducted from the MV Island Pride. The field development design process will be aided by the early identification, location and characterisation of potential geohazards.
The projects require AUV technology to acquire high-resolution Water Column data, seafloor MBES bathymetry, Backscatter, Side Scan Sonar and Sub Bottom Profiler data.
